I know you dont want to
I know you dont mean to
but you do
you hurt me the most

Your words strike me like knives
aimed for my heart
and they hit hard, deep, & painfully

It seems as if you want to break me
as if you want to see me crack
you hurt me ever so
so very much more than others
cause i let you in
I trusted you with my life
you were my best friend

Now i cant tell
if what you say, you mean
so I just take it all to heart

It kills me to think these awful thoughts
but they seem so real
that you dont care for me
even as a friend

Everyday you break me
in everyway possible
but you never know
because i hide it from you especially

I just want to be around you
but you run away from me
like i'm the one hurting you

All i want to know is
what will it take for you to see
you mean so much to me
more that you could ever begin to imagine
